Calcium metal is the ideal deoxidant of producing special steel and alloy. It is mainly used to produce Calcium Cored Wire.
Application:it is main material to produce pure Calcium cored wire, which been used in steel-making industry, for the purpose of De-oxidation, Desulphurization and Inclusion modification. The solid Calcium wire to be wrapped by steel jacket (called cored wire) and then injected into the liquid steel melt with help of wire injection system with the purpose of high performances/recovery of Ca in steel production. It have great advantage at cost saving, consistency and accurate additions.
